What do adults get mad at teenagers for the way they dress?

OK, I wear tight pants and things like that and my parents dont like it at all.. but i still like to wear it and they get mad at me..how am i supposed to do about it?What do adults get mad at teenagers for the way they dress?

Lots of times parents are afraid or telling you they care. But, like most humans, they hate to be vulnerable and just tell you how they feel. Instead they get angry, which is much less vulnerable than fear.
its just not how they dressed in the old days. its more revealing. my parents grew used to it and just let me express my style
dude, i know how u feel. i wear tight skinny jeans %26amp; tops and my parents dont like it, but they dont complain about it much anymore. it took them a while to get used to it. one good thing for me is that they hate the really baggy sagging jeans style even more lol!


try this: tell them it is your unique style, that u don't let everyone else decide how u dress or think or talk. might work. if not, they might get used to it on their own!
Just sneak out and dont let them see u!
Just tell them you don't want to dress like everyone else! Or if they don't like that answer, you could just buy 1 size bigger.
It doesn't matter what you wear, they still won't like what you wear. You should dress in what you feel comfortable in and what you feel describes yourself. Tell your parents how you feel, but in a tactful way and be open to a little bit of compromise.
We adults get mad when kids dress bad for example when the guys have there jeans half way down there legs with there underwear showing it look sloppy and no one wants to see there underwear. some of the girls also dress like they are strippers or an adult trying to look sexy for attention from men. this is no way for a teenage girl to dress.
I had this problem, too but I am a girl and I wear tight pants, jeans, and tops. But I don't really show them my clothes and also I told them that I want to wear them like some other people. after few months I am sure that you won't have this problem again!!!

Because they're acting how their parents acted when they were teens.
