Do you know of volunteer spots in Maine in the summer for teenagers?

My cousin lives in southern or central Maine and he lives in a small town (low population rate) but wants to do volunteer work. He is 15 years old. Many volunteer places have actually turned him down because he is a teenager with little experience (in building, buisness, etc.) and it's actually hard to find places. So thanks.Do you know of volunteer spots in Maine in the summer for teenagers?
try hooking up with a service organization (red cross, hospital, a non-profit) they need lots of help and they usually don't turn people away.
