What is there to do on family vacation in Dallas with teenagers?

We are planning a mini vacation the end of July to Dallas. I know about Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor in Arlington. Does anyone recommend Hurricane Harbor or is it a waste of time and money? What other places are fun for teenagers in or around Dallas? My son is 14, and three daughters ages 13 12 and 11. Any ideas are welcome. Thank you. What is there to do on family vacation in Dallas with teenagers?
I guess you posted this question twice.

Like I said before, the Texas Rangers stadium is near Six Flags. There is Medieval Times, the restaurant in downtown Dallas....There are several malls like Galleria, Vista Ridge, Valley View, Grapevine Mills...The Dallas arboretum (botanical garden) is real nice. What is there to do on family vacation in Dallas with teenagers?
Eat at the Blue Goose.

Go to Northpark (Mall) They have every store.
Definitely see the Dallas World Aquarium! It is a blast.

Fort Worth is fun too, Its just a train ride away from Dallas. The stock yards are fun to visit there. Also the Botanical Gardens, the Zoo and The Japanese Water Gardens are better in Ft. Worth. Have Fun!
oh yeah six flags would be a blast!,but i dont think hurricane harbor is theres the ft.worth zoo went there last week it was fun!then theres alot of malls in the ftw.dallas area and the have the rangers and they have sandy lake its really small tho so idk good luck!and have fun=]
Hurricain Harbor is okay. I think it's a little overpriced though. Check out BurgersLake in Fort Worth or NRH2O in N. Richland Hills both are less expensive and less crowded. The Rangers have a basball museum in Arlington. The Science Museum in Fort Worth is cool. Theres an Omni (imax) there and a platarium too. The Dallas Aquarium is great. For shopping I would suggest Grapevine Mills mall in Grapevine. Its not overpriced like some of the Dallas Malls. The Botanic and Japanesse gardens are sooooo pretty in FtWorth. There are winerys in Grapevine. McKinney Street trolley has a great tour around town with a bunch of stores and restaurants. Also, there's a train called Trantulla. It's an old steam engine and it takes you from downtown Grapevine (theres antique stores, shops, food, ect.) to the Stockyards in Ft, Worth. The Stockyards have all kinds of western themed shops, and restaurants. If you get down there, there's a cattle drive every morning at 11am through the streets. Theres also Billy Bob's over Texas. It's got a game room and dance floor, indoor rodeo, theres live music on the weekends by National Country Artist. The kids can go in as long as they are with you. The Westend in Dallas has shopping and food and usually theres live music on the street. Sundance Square is one of my favorite places. Its in downtown Ft Worth and theres always street artist and musicians out, theres art galleries, food, shopping, theater, so much to do down there and so pretty at night. If you like theater there are alot of choice in DFW. Bass Hall in Ft. Worth is beautiful. Dallas Summer Musicals are going on now. They also have Shakesphere in the park in Dallas. www.guidelive.com has a list of local events. The Palace of Wax and Ripleys Believe it or Not in Grand Prairie is pretty cool. Grand Prairie also has Loan Star Park with live horse racing. Theres this place in Euless called Americas Incredible Pizza. It is so much fun! It's like Chuck-e-cheese for older kids. It's got a buffet, 5 themed dining rooms, everthings indoor: go karts, neon putt putt, bumpercars, bowling and tons of games. We love it there. Don't forget to have some texas BBQ and some great mexican food. Ask locals where to eat. Whatever you do, Have fun.
Hurricane harbor is nice. check out guidelive.com for events when you will be here. The Ft Worth Zoo is cool. The West end has the 6th Floor Museum where Kennedy was killed.
