What would you consider to be the best school district for teenagers in the San Diego area?

I am planning to relocate to the San Diego area this year and want to purchase a home in good area with good to outstanding schools for my children who will be entering the 9th drade this year. Any feedback would be much appreciated. What would you consider to be the best school district for teenagers in the San Diego area?
Poway has the best school district in the whole county. We lived there for 5 years and my daughter graduated from Poway High. What would you consider to be the best school district for teenagers in the San Diego area?
If you can afford the area, La Jolla High is an excellent public school. It's also close to Bishop's and La Jolla Country Day, which are good private schools. Really, though, I think the public schools in San Diego are fine; they face similiar challenges to public schools across the country and have a good track record.
the ones without guns
Scripps Ranch Highschool is a respectable blue-ribbon school, I attended there myself. Spacious campus, it looks alot like a university, and a very friendly atmosphere, you pick up friends almost instanstly. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.
you can try north san diego... south isnt the best... la jolla or encinitas or around there.. those are good areas
all the school districts in san diego are very diaspointing

please consider private schools or home school

this is the best options for kids if you dont want them to get into drugs, gangs, early sex, or shot at either

thanks

i went to a private school
i would do home school it is a beter option
I highly recommend the San Dieguito School District. And Torrey Pines High School is a very highly rated school.

going to school were teenagers make threats and causes the school to be lock down like what happend today

you kids would be safer at home then going to a public school
