What makes teenagers throw items onto rail tracks?

I've asked in this section as I want some insight into this. Manhole covers, bricks and even scooters have been thrown onto railway tracks and at trains.





Are they actually trying to derail the train or don't they think through their actions?What makes teenagers throw items onto rail tracks?
I have been one of those teenagers.


Boredom is true, but there are two main resons:





1- to see what the object looks like after it has been crushed by a train.


2- to see if the object gets electricuted in front of your eyes (I recently realised that this always resulted in disappointment as the tracks are not actually live; its that 3rd rail in the middle that is. How I wasted my time.)What makes teenagers throw items onto rail tracks?
Dumbasses that don't understand that it's an idiot move that will result in something going horrible wrong.











I would like to apologies on behalf of the teenagers that agree with me.
I think it is only the really stupid teenagers who do that. OR just the ones who have horrible lives and would like to see something as ugly as themselves.
Hardly any teenagers would actually do that. It's only a few stupid ones who want to show off in front of their mates.
Mostly chavs or wiggers.
