Would it be appropriate for two teenagers to see Demetri Martin standup?

My friend and I, 15 and 16, have tickets to see Demetri Martin this month. My parents are skeptical, however, because they think it might be inappropriate. From what I've seen of Demetri, I think he's fairly innocent and hysterical. Do you think it would be okay?Would it be appropriate for two teenagers to see Demetri Martin standup?
I think it will be okay. Why don't you pull up his website and let you parents look around? He's also on MySpace and iTunes -- you can offer your parents a little preview of his material. He does include a few racy things now and then, but nothing that you wouldn't encounter on normal TV shows (not the late-night stuff).Would it be appropriate for two teenagers to see Demetri Martin standup?
Oh yeah, from what I've seen of him on the Dialy Show, he should pass the parental muster. Maybe you could make tape/disc/Tivo of Demetri Martin stuff for the Rentals to see. Good luck, and have fun.
I think you would be fine. Some of his jokes are a little inappropriate, but they are no more inappropriate than most of the stuff you hear in school anyways.
