My 16 yr.old son wants one of his ears pierced! Does anyone have a suggestions?Teenagers!!!!!!!!!!!?
Having raised two teenagers, I can tell you that a good basic rule is to ';choose your battles wisely';. Having one or both ears pierced is something the younger generation does, so it's probably important to him for social or status reasons. Getting his ear pierced or dying his hair blue is far better than wanting to gain social status by drinking or doing drugs, so comparatively his request is small potatoes.
If you try to control everything his does or wants, there's a risk that sooner or later he's going to rebel and do something far worse than getting an ear pierced. Teens are blossoming adults who need to slowly and safely learn how to have some say over their lives. So, save your parental ';strong arm'; for things that really, really matter.Teenagers!!!!!!!!!!!?
In my opinion teenagersč½ go through this stage that i consider the first stage menopause of the human being. because boy oh boy!!!!!!!!.it is soo hard for parents to understand. because we are alwaysgoing to say ';In our times was different'; The bottom line i think you should let him do it. It is in style and they look ok.there is nothing wrong with ears pierced!
Ah, a bunch of boys are getting their ears pierced these days. If you don't mind it, just let him have at it. He'll learn if he really likes it or not. But definitely do not let him get anymore piercings cause then he might starting looking ridiculous!
No, don't let him do it. I'm 16 and I hate boys with earrings, tell him that girls don't like that. It makes me think of a girl when I think of earrings and women want men to be manly right? It's gross, say no.
Guys with their ears pierced usually don't look that good. Most of them do it to try to look like they're some kind of bad boy.
But that's just my opinion....
getting just one ear pierced is lame, tell him to get gauges in both ears.
let him do it....why not? it can grow back,
if he wants to get big *** holes, just knock him out
let him! an earring isnt going to hurt anything really.. make him pay for it him self
let him do it!
he is sixteen and it's just an earring.
i mean it's not like he's asking to get a full body tattoo.
