What kinds of things do you ';say'; to get elementary age children and young teenagers to smile?

For their photo shoot and you're the photographer. And you're taking pictures of about 60 of them in a 4 hour period. I mean you can't be using ';say cheese';. that's old, unprofessional.What kinds of things do you ';say'; to get elementary age children and young teenagers to smile?
Say Harry Potter! They will either smile or throw up.What kinds of things do you ';say'; to get elementary age children and young teenagers to smile?
Try hats, noise makers, dolls, puppets ........ sports questions.....pictures of fancy cars.....Britney Spears.......anything that a elementary student would be interested in.....Ask the teacher what that age group is into.....With a cable release in one hand you can do wonders showing things with the other.
';Say cheese'; is not unprofessional, but you can catch them off guard by telling them to say:





Cheeseburger


Cheapskate


Cheesy Pizza


cheep, cheep, cheep


Cheerios





Let your imagination be your guide. You can also ask them what their favorite book is, who their favorite character is, etc.





Tell them to imagine giving this picture to their favorite person or character. That takes a little more time, but the smile will reach their eyes if they are really into it.
'; now i want u to look me right in the eye....and don't smile...k?'; and then u start smiling like rlly hard.....itz contagious
say ';smile or you wont get treats!';
Say something from high school musical...the little ones will love it and the older ones will get a kick out of it
just tell them to think of something really funny or something that makes them reallly happy and pretend like they're there in that moment again and have them smile like they were

My personal favorite is to tell them to say ';purple people eater';. They are so caught off guard they smile before they even try to say anything.

try to act cool or say something dorky like ';groovy';
this is a tough question, i think you should say a joke about their teachers or teacher. say something like mr,manning is gay or an idiot...ofcourse ask the teacher for permission first !
