Hummer H2. It's strong. What kind of cars are safe for teenagers?
of definately a safe car. its so safe that you have no money to pay for gas so that it sits on your driveway. no way for your daughter to get into accidents

a 2000 or up ford Taurus. they are good on fuel and were rated very high in the government crash tests
no car is safe for a teen.
buy any car, make her pay for the insurance.
Well anything that has a good or high safety rating. You can talk to the dealer about that. Either way if you know your daughter is a safe driver, you have almost nothing to worry about.
I don't know anything about the best type car for your purposes, but I would like to point you to a very good article I enjoyed, that you might like to share with your daughter ...

Automobile Accidents鈥擜re You Safe?:

...The Drowsy Driver

...Experienced yet Older

...A Decision to Consider

a quote:

';Whether you are older or younger, an experienced driver or a novice, you are not immune to the dangers of automobile accidents. Recognize the serious responsibility that comes with driving. Take precautions to reduce your chances of being involved in a collision. By doing so, you may protect yourself and others throughout many journeys yet to come.';

There are many more on the same Web site,

some related ones listed to the side of each article.
i suggest to get her formula 1.. heheheheh
A Honda is one of your safest bets. They now have six airbags in each car. The new civic has fivestar front driver, passenger and five star side passenger and driver crash test ratings. They are very safe cars and should last you over 200,000 miles
sumthen that she can easily drive, so not sum oversized-not needed SUV or truck. minimum 2-airbags, ABS and prehaps traction control. sumthen like a civic, camry(as un-cool as they are) focus or the like would b a good choice.

make sure she does pay insurance herself (this could help her 2 b more careful with her driving+parking) and makes sure she has no trouble's parking the car...major issue with teenage chicks...they cant park(well usually from my experiance).

oh make sure its in a nice colour or all she will do is complain until u get a new car.
