What are some good habits for teenagers?

I need to re organize my life and get into some good habits. If you could please put some suggestions of good habits.

Thank you. What are some good habits for teenagers?
Have a set bed time, have a time for friends, also time for your family, but then make sure that you have enough time for your school work!! As a teen I know that it's hard to eat healthy foods because your always on the go and in a hurry..try to get into some good eating habits and maybe exercise a couple times a week! What are some good habits for teenagers?
The good habits are not something you can impose on yourself and follow it for a day or so, you have to live with them. They come with your good lifestyle and good attitude to life. Before taking any decision always discuss with your near and dear ones specially your parents. They are not just your parents who will always look for the best for you but they are very experienced as well due to their age and experience in all aspects of life.

Do not drink and go wild as drinking kills any kind of skills and drinking and binge drinking can land you in lot of trouble.

Study hard as education will take you long way in life. Respect your boundaries set by your parents though you are old enough to take your matters in your hands but always respect your elders to help to decide the right path. There is plenty to learn in life so it is better you start with positive attitude and with good habits. You are already on the right path that you thought to adopt good habits. Keep it up.
The Seven Habits

The chapters are dedicated to each of the habits, which are represented by the following imperatives:

Be Proactive! Here, Covey emphasizes the original sense of the term ';proactive'; as coined by Victor Frankl. You can either be proactive or reactive when it comes to how you respond to certain things. When you are reactive, you blame other people and circumstances for obstacles or problems. Being proactive means taking responsibility for every aspect of your life. Initiative and taking action will then follow. Covey also argues that man is different from other animals in that he has self-consciousness. He has the ability to detach himself and observe his own self; think about his thoughts. He goes on to say how this attribute enables him: It gives him the power not to be affected by his circumstances. Covey talks about stimulus and response. Between stimulus and response, we have the power of free will to choose our response.

Begin with the End In Mind! This chapter is about setting long-term goals based on ';true north'; principles. Covey recommends formulating a ';Personal Mission Statement'; to document one's perception of one's own vision in life. He sees visualization as an important tool to develop this. He also deals with organizational vision statements, which he claims to be more effective if developed and supported by all members of an organization rather than prescribed.

Put First Things First! Here, Covey describes a framework for prioritizing work that is aimed at short-term goals, at the expense of tasks that appear not to be urgent, but are in fact very important. Delegation is presented as an important part of time management. Successful delegation, according to Covey, focuses on results and benchmarks that are to be agreed upon in advance, rather than prescribed as detailed work plans.

Think Win/Win describes an attitude whereby mutually beneficial solutions are sought that satisfy the needs of oneself, or, in the case of a conflict, both parties involved.

Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood. Covey warns that giving out advice before having empathetically understood a person and their situation will likely result in rejection of that advice. Thoroughly reading out your own autobiography will decrease the chance of establishing a working communication.

Synergize describes a way of working in teams. Apply effective problem solving. Apply collaborative decision making. Value differences. Build on divergent strengths. Leverage creative collaboration. Embrace and leverage innovation. It is put forth that when synergy is pursued as a habit, the result of the teamwork will exceed the sum of what each of the members could have achieved on their own. “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

Sharpen the saw focuses on balanced self-satisfaction: Regain what Covey calls ';production capability'; by engaging in carefully selected recreational activities. Covey also emphasizes the need to sharpen the mind.
Dedicate at least a half an hour a day to exercising.

Do homework before you do anything else on any given night so you aren't up late doing work, just incase something takes longer than you expected.

Hang out with friends! Meet people, have fun on the weekends.

Eat healthy.

Be polite and have manners, be a gentleman.

Get a hobby, a sport, a craft, or an instrument.

Hah, remember to stay clean o.O Take showers and wash your hands after you get home from school, after using the bathroom, and before eating.

Doing things like this will give you a well rounded life and will hopefully help you to become a better, happier person.

I would say to get a job, make sure to exercise, eat well, get out often to be social, and always be sure to stay calm and collected, it will help you in the long run when your having a stressful day. Don't get into drugs or alcohol, those will bite you in the *** later when you get addicted. Yoga is a good way to stay healthy and non stressed especially the sun salutation. Make sure you balance how much you use the computer to avoid stress from bills. Cut back on electricity... but watching TV for a couple of hours are okay... just not like 5 hours lol. And getter a girlfriend won't hurt you, it only will if you get into bad habits from her.

You'll do fine! (=
awww dude i totally kno whut ur tlkin bout :D but ne ways some good ways to me would to get into a new hobby that u never thought u could do. like drawing, or something:D and getting into something that makes u feel like you have a new beginning. or jst a usual workout can get ur mind clear. but mostly to me listening to music cuz it can take your mind places u never thought u knew about= D
By doing what you know is the right thing. Join community activities or activities that will help others. It will give you a good feeling inside. Avoid peer pressure. For example, if you ever go to a party that might serve alcohol, bring a soda with you so if anyone wants you to try some beer or wine etc... Just say ';No thanks, I already have a drink.'; And of course avoid drugs and gangs. Just be kind to others, and hopefully they'll be kind to you.
Physical activities! swimming, sports, exercise, dancing, drama and helping out friends. Whenever I get into a bad habit I keep my mind off of it by working out on the treadmill. I know that sounds like great fun but, it works for me. Just find something you like to do and is healthy for you. I'm not talking about your fitness, I mean something that isn't stressful.
Well,

eat well. We are what we eat and if you eat well now, you will be an healthy adult. Eat fruits, vegetables, milk, whole bread, avoid sugar the best you can, do not eat tons of meat, few processed food of any type, etc.

sleep the hours your body needs, no more, no less.

practice to assert yourself in a polite way.

learn to put part your money aside.

: )
helping your mom around the house... now that im a mom thats one of my biggest regrets is being so lazy in my moms home letting her do it all.. so many nights ive spent crying and feeling so down because it seems my life... is cleaning.. cooking.. and taking care of kids.. and its hard.. so hard .. i need a hand every once in a while.. so help her out ... try to respect her more... youll cherish her as an adult...
some of the good habits of being a teenager, is getting your self to involve in sports! Also, doing your homework lol i know, but its gonna pay off later. and im so proud of you for wanting to make a change :),
Get listening to music, remixing songs, and setting up an account on www.reverbnation.com it's a great site to upload your music and let others listen. Also, playing soccer, snowmobiling, ATVing and doing carpentry as a hobby, also I have a punching bag and I lift weights, it's great! I'm 15.

Great question.

I suggest you: Read more, spend less time listening to music/surfing the web/ watching your television, etc. If only i could follow that advice...
everything i do wrong as a sixteen year old teenager:

dont spend too much time on the computer

sleep and manage your time well

eat healthy dont diet etc etc
always do whats best for you but look out for others. don't always expect things in return and do things for ppl becuase you just being selfless
Whacking off on you computer daily, drinking vodka at least once a week, and fingering a girl in the lunch line
Well saying bad words is bad and try to study more so you'll become successful

Exercise daily, eat healthy, do your homework the day you get it.
hang out with the good crowds that don't do drugs and don't drink.
