What is it when teenagers like the Military and dress in uniforms and go bush?

Is it like a subculture? Any info on it would be appreciated. Does anyone in Oz do that? What is it when teenagers like the Military and dress in uniforms and go bush?
What do you mean? What is it when teenagers like the Military and dress in uniforms and go bush?
I think that you are thinking of the Australian Military Reserves.

Some schools have a brigade of these. They go out on weekends and do practise runs. You can join the civilian reserves. There is more information at:

http://www.defence.gov.au/army/

It's not a subculture. It is good experience to find out if you want a career in the armed forces or not. You do it on weekends and out of working hours and get paid for it from what I can ascertain. You can also get rank if you stick at it.

It's worth a try. It would be good experience. It also broadens your career opportunities and looks good on your CV. You are seen to have learned to take responsibility in tough conditions and performed tasks that require physical and mental endurance.

However, if the army gets short on man/woman power they can call on the reserves to go OS for the country. There's a bit of down-side to everything.

The very best of luck if you decide to give it a try!!!
Do you mean something like army cadets.

That's all I can think of. Although camoflage clothing is pretty popular with teens, and camping is bound to be fun for some of them.

I don't think it's any sort of subculture or anything
lol mmmm military sexy. Im not sure what you call it but we have skirmish thats kinda close to what your talking about.
Do you mean like a reenactment group, like they would go and play at been in a battle or something?
