*Vampire Diaries

*House of Night Series (I recommend this series the most!!!)

I also enjoyed Eragon (can't remember the series name, but it is very good)
Anything by Anthony Horowitz is good, he specializes in horror and action and adventure.

The Hardy Boys were created by the same man who thought up Nancy Drew, waaaaay back in the 20's and 30's.
shopaholic series by sophie kinsella (i think)
