What age should teenagers start working out?

Im almost 16. I plan on starting strength training now but I'm concerned I'm not quite old enough to even be developing a lot of muscle. As of now I run quite a bit (I'm a track athlete) and I can make progress that matches the abilities of an adult, so will I be able to develop bulk as well? What age should teenagers start working out?
you are right at that age where people start working out. i think it would be great for you to do this. if you start now you will be healthier in the long run. there is absolutely nothing with starting to work out now. i'm 15 and i work out. What age should teenagers start working out?
well you could of started in the age of 13 me and my friends have a lot of muscle because we work out a lot (we are 14)and because were athletic we also are in track .but we don't try to get a lot of muscle because it would slow us down when we have a track meet.you.

p.s if you do start working out don't' try to get big or you will get slow and not be able to run as fast
You could start as young as 15. Just don't overdo it so your muscles aren't sore. Every other day. The muscles build on the off day, believe it or not. When I was in high school a lot of 15 year old freshmen were getting started weight training, this was in the 80's though.
teenages should be working out every day no matter the age. Working out is the every day exercise. As for going to the gym, 15 or 16 is the right age.

Yeah you could, focus on lifting during your daily workout. Do pushups. weights, and other things.

good luck
16 is a good age to start, make sure you have a coach or a schedule put together by a coach, otherwise you won't build good muscle. You can bulk if you'd like but be sure that you are safe about lifting
now a good time for you and also at 16 u can start building up muscles
