How can we stop our teenagers from having sex?

It seems to me that it doesn't matter what you do, our teenagers are going to have sex whenever they want to.

Whether you bring them up against it or for it, when the decision is theirs they're going to do whatever they feel like doing. I'd rather just teach them about sex so that I know they're safe.

What are your views? How can we stop our teenagers from having sex?
I'm a fifteen year old currently having sex. I have been since I was almost fourteen. I'm not a ****, in fact, I am on homecoming court. I do it because everyone else at my school does it. Oh, and my school isn't a ghetto, trashy school AT ALL. It's a private all girl's school.

My parents never told me much about sex, but I wish they did. Although they couldn't prevent me from having it, I wish they told me all about it and just taught me the importance of safe sex. I had to get all the info I could out of my girlfriends and the internet.

So please parents, talk to your kids about sex, and even if they end up doing it and you don't support it before a certain age, be relieved that they did it a smart way.

Sex is growing in kids because it's a natural thing, so instead of trying to prevent it by not informing them, TALK TO THEM.How can we stop our teenagers from having sex?

We need to educate them before they become teenagers. Starting with around 1st grade or so start teaching them about the sexual organs and unwanted touching of those areas by others. Make sure they know about telling a parent/teacher about this behavior no matter who does it.

Around 4th or 5th grade we need to reinforce these values and start getting into details about sexual gratification by self and others and safe sex practices. Details about the effects of pregnancy on the body and mental effects of raising a child when still a child. The long term effects of such as the fact that most will drop out of school and be forced to work menial jobs with little pay. The struggle to raise such kids to learn from your mistakes and such.

Around 8th or 9th grade again re-emphasize the previous lessons and expound on the sexual act again. Safe sex and the abstance policy both should be taught so that they know about the alternatives. For those that take the safe sex route education on obtaining birth control pills for females or condoms for males and females. The more you know about sex and the effects means that they will be able to think about it and the results of such practices.

Along with this the parents should be also educated on how to reinforce these ideas at the home. This way the children will know that the parents and teachers are worried about their safety and education about sexual practices.
You're exactly right that teenagers are going to do whatever they want to do. As the parent/gaurdian it's your job to teach them to make decisions for themselve. Sometimes they will be bad decisions and they will have to deal with the outcomes of those bad decisions. But that's life. The most important thing you can do as a parent is teach your teenager like the young adult that they are, not like child who can't make decisions for themselves, and tell them your concerns. Why you wish they would wait for sex, the importance of protection, and don't be afraid to find a limetime TV show or some other form of actual circumstances where the outcomes of having sex at such an early age can lead to things like Babies and STD's. My parents showed me pictures of different types of STD's and then told me how common they were.
Neutering seems to work well on pets, I don't see what all the fuss is about trying it on children. Bob Barker says it all the time, ';Spay and Neuter your pets.'; The surgery involved is very safe, and is usually reversible, that way you can decide when to give your offspring the right to reproduce (in some cases this may never happen).

Otherwise you can lock them in your basement for a few years. Feeding them rat feces and sewage water. Beating is also a viable alternative, it's cheap and you can blame their teachers when the social workers arrive.
Parents have been trying to prevent teenagers from having sex for a long, long time. They have tried scare tactics (depending on views) from 'burning in hell' to the most logical - STDs - to seemingly no avail. Think back to when you were a teenager and were overwhelmingly curious about something. Sure your parent's advice rang in your head the entire time you defied them, but the curiosity still remained and it is human nature to explore that curiosity. The best thing parents can do is to prepare the child, I'm not condoning, with as much information as possible and hope they keep it safe. :o)
there's actually quite a lot you can do - you can discuss it openly, making it clear that it is unacceptable. And you can say why you think so. Most of my children's friends seem to sleep with boys when they are drunk, too, or desperate to have a boyfriend. so the issue has to be addressed from a parental point of view - your child should have a high enough sense of self esteem to be able to resist this pressure. The example you give your children should be one that supports your viewpoints - do not drink to excess, for example, and only hae sex in stable relatinships.

Another angle is the media - talk to your children about the portrayal of sex in our modern society.

You can't stop your children having sex, but you can bring them up properly, you can provide them with a stable homelife and you can teach them morals and standards.
You can't stop them....all you can do is educate them about abstinence and encourage them to practice it as well as educating them about the consequences of of sex. As parents you can also protect them should they choose to have sex. Get your daughter's on birth control and teach both sons and daughters where to buy condoms.

Sex is not teenagers as the consequences can be dire...I don't care what people say about sex beng natural. Sex is actually meant for reproduction and unless you are with someone you love and want to reproduce with (and old enough to do this) then fine.
HI

Looks like you have already decided that your children are going to have sex, that's a shame, because you are sending out signals already to them.

I agree about talking about sex to all your children, but would go very strongly on the feelings more that are involved with it.

Answer as many questions as you can to them, always be open and approachable, and make it very clear you would be furious if you ever found out they were ever indulging in sex for sex sake without love.

At the end of the day they will all make there own minds up when they feel its right for them, so drop the negative attitude, and give them a bit more common sense than you are

Just talking about sex to them will not make them safe
You can't stop them from having sex (and in my opinion it's cruel and selfish to try to do so) unless you lock them up or lock them in medieval chastity belts. They have sex drives the same as any adult, only 2-3 times more powerful, and it's 100% natural for them to want to have sex. The best you can do is give them the information they need to protect themselves against the likelihood of pregnancy or catching an STD. So I agree with you.
My personal opinion is that we should have a holiday for all girls who turn 13 -- they become women and start on birth control.

This would not 100% eliminate teen pregnancy but it would help a lot. All of mother nature tells a teens body to do it- its not just advertisements and such. Their body is ready -- their minds may not be but the body is. That is essentially why we have these problems. For many generations women married and had children young -- now we want them to stop doing that but their bodies havent heard the message. That natural desire for sex is much stronger than any amount of parental nagging, educational information, societies views or anything else. All we can do is protect them from the worst of the ills that come with sexual activity.
you really cant tell them they can't have sex, if they want to do it they'll do it, teaching them sex is wrong or telling them horror stories can cause intimacy problems when theyre older and cause problems of their own with sex, the best thing you can do is teach them about safe sex and let them know you're there for them

you could always give thema lesson on STDs though if you wana scare them off sleepin around

just teach them good morals
sex is natural and everybody is going to have sex at some point in there lives. yes younger people are having sex at a lot younger ages but that's just the 21st century and people need to accept it.

everybody is teaching us about the ST-Is, the contraception, the pregnancy's etc. but nobody is teaching us the other things such at the emotional things which happen in your head after sex.

get over it. you say your a mum of 5, your children are going to have sex, weather u like it or not.
Domme me said everything that needs saying.

A lot of schools now only teach abstinence as the solution to not getting pregnant or catching an STD - which is no good. As you've said, teenagers are going to have sex anyway, so that at least need to be taught how to use contraceptives.

I know when my daughter is older I will be teaching her about contraceptives and how to use them properly, rather than abstinence.
Our children will all have sex one day or another, so that part is inevitable. But it is our responsibility as parents to give them the proper information regarding sex and to guide them properly in life. I am hoping to raise my daughter to respect herself and her body and I will always let her know that she can talk to me about anything including sex and I will bring it up to her when she reaches that age because I want her to just be careful and I want to make sure she isn'T doing it for the wrong reasons. ( such as peer pressure )
In today's society, you cannot stop a teenager from having sex. Aside from homeschooling them and never letting them see the light of day til they are 18.

You can teach them, scare them, etc.... but a teenager is just that; A TEENAGER. And with most teenagers, they are rebellious and once they have their mind-set on doing something, they are going to do it.

All you can really do is talk to them about safe sex and how to protect themselves. So, In hindsight, my view is somewhat similar to yours.
You cant. Simple. If you tell them not to they will do it to resent you, if you tell them its ok they will because they can.

All parents can do is teach their children how to have sex safely, to make sure they truly understand how to use condoms and the pill to ensure that it is talked about openly and without fear of ridicule. There is no point with those parents who say ' i FORBID you to have sex' its never going to work. Making sure you have a good relationship with your children is the only way to make a difference
Well this is a very good question. My parents used to hold ';Sex Parties'; when I was 15 years old. Usually I would partner up with 3-4 different girls and get experienced. My parents would watch to make sure everyone was doing it right and even sometimes my dad would get involved while my mom videotaped. This was so we could watch it later so my parents could correct me and show me what I was doing wrong.

I hope that helps but it is the best way to approach this.
All we can do as parents is give them the correct information and counsel them on waiting until they complete school and are ready. Give them information about sex and using birth control when they do start having sex and pray for them daily that God will give them conviction to honor his word and wait until marriage before having sex. We as parents need to supervise even our teens to not give them an opportunity to have sex.
you cant stop your teenagers from having sex.

it's a thing everybody does when their ready to do it :),

im sure if you just sit them down and talk to them about how safe it is, and dangerous is it then im sure they'll take things into consideration.

tell them that your going to be there for them when their ready to tell you, and talk to you about things.

it's a thing all mums have to do.

x
I have teenage sisters and I constantly tell them to wait until they're ready etc etc but if they must, then at least be safe.

I think if they're going to do it, they will. We should give them plenty of reasons why they shouldn't do it but make sure they are well informed in sex ed so that they know to do it safely.
you cant stop them so just make sure they do it safe

maybe keep giving them a good supply of condoms in their drawers beside bed

take your daughter to the doctor and get them on the pill or patch

keep going on about safe sex and maybe look up the net and get pics of STIs really put em off doing it without a condom
You can't totally stop someone from having sex. You should let them know while they're still young the responsibilities and things that come along with having sex. If they reach the age where they feel you are ready, then they're going to do it. If/when they do the right things to protect then whether a boy or girl.
We can't. The best we can hope for is to teach teach them to have enough respect for their bodies that they will use birth control and be wise about who they share themselves with.

if you say anything at all, though it seems as if you are 'judging' which is a catch all phrase that i think means myob, But we still expect you to treat us like kids and pay for everything. in other words do not hold us accountable for our actions.

THAT attitude makes me mad.
Honestly, if you have any brain cells you would consider the consequences of your actions, and use more than 1 form of protection, seemingly though most of the STD trading and conception happens when one or both of the couple were drunk etc.

Responsible drinking would curb this 'epidemic', but do we really have to be playing spot the brain cell when its a concience decision of theirs not to use protection?
i dont think you can stop them all you can do is educate and make sure they are practising safe sex,id rather my daughter tell me she was thinking of having sex so i could help her protect herself than her go and do it behind my back anyway and get in all sorts of trouble.im very open with my daughter so hope she feels she can tell me when she thinks the time is right.
We can't stop them and we never will. Sex is one of the most basic instincts that humans past puberty have, and the best way to handle it is to educate them and be open with them. Abstinence Only does NOT work!! There's not coincidence that states with this AO policy also have a problem with teen pregnancies.
Best prepare them for the inevitable. But don't miss out on the lecture about virginity and chastity.

We are parents, and we can't help ourselves to fuss about the kids. Stop and listen for awhile. We can't protect them from the world nor can we keep them forever. The kids are growing and years are passing by. Be there for them when they need us to nurture them, to guide them...to love them no matter what...Peace!
Thats the best way.i have 4 girls which worry me,3 in their teens but i found by telling them about sex, sti's,contraceptions etc and that i can trust them to do the right thing, they have been very sensible about it,my 17 yr old daughter even goes for her free condoms from the clinic at the doctors even though shes on the pill.i feel really proud of them x
Well i don't think we can stop them but make sure they get talked to about safety and aware of the things that can happen...Most parents don't even talk about it and that is the worst way to go about it, teens are going to find out about it one way or another, so SPEAK UP...
First of all, educate them on this. That is the most important thing you can do. Educate them on the consequences of sex. Teach them that there is a lot more to life than sex and also teach them to do it when they are ready to. The body is a temple, treat it that way.
Abstinence is the only appropriate solution. The decision is not ';theirs'; it's yours as a parent.

You control their lives, you control where they go until they're adults.

If they're screwing around it's yours and only your fault.

The good news is you can do something about it, don't let them go out with their friends. Constantly remind them no one likes a ';****'; like these other teen girls answering your question, and remind them of the benefits of a pure life in the service of god.

The power is yours.

What are 5 major decisions teenagers face as they go through life?

I already put college, not being who they are to fit in, taking advanced courses but being less social. I need 5 more. Any suggestions? What are 5 major decisions teenagers face as they go through life?
That depends on the teenager as not all teens are the same nor do we all have the same life-experiences. Sure, we all deal with our families, peers, and school, but our experiences vary.

What are 5 major decisions teenagers face as they go through life?
I think five decisions teenagers are faced with are the following :

1. Passing those pointless standardized tests to graduate. At least that's what they do in my school. You have to pass all parts of the OGT's or you don't graduate. In fact, I'm taking them this year, hahaha. I hate standardized tests, mainly because I hate studying and not knowing what may or may not appear on the test. The teachers never tell us except for two of mine I can name of. We try to spent countless hours studying for so long, biting our nails and pulling out our hairs on the day of the test so concerned in getting a perfect or at least decent score.

2. Another thing that runs on a lot of teenagers minds is the future. For me, I'm excited yet overwhelmed of what might happen in the future. There's all this pressure and decision making into what college do you want to go to and what you want to do when you grow up and where do you want to live and the worries of if you'll be a successful adult or some hobo eating out of the Denny's dumpster. As you said, college is something that's probably on more than half these teenagers minds.

.

3. Trying to be popular/fitting in, in high school. This is something a lot of teenagers may or may not want. Me personally, I think teenagers like that feeling of feeling special and so well liked in school so we do everything we can to mold into someone else, something other people want us to be all so we won't get shoved into lockers or tripped down the stairs or taunted and attacked in the girls/boys restrooms. We all want this popularity from people in school we don't even know, people who we won't see after high school - they'll more than likely be long gone and it's a fat chance you'll see them again. But teenagers don't look at it like that, well not all of them do.

4. Trying to find yourself. When I mean trying to find yourself I mean trying to discover you who really are. Maybe this doesn't really happen until you're out of high school and into a more mature environment such as college. But I personally am trying to discover who I really am, my preferences and my likes and dislikes. It's kind of frustrating.

And I'm sorry I can't think of a fifth one, but I at least came up with four.
5 major decisions would probably be :

- Sex , what age to lose your virginty, who ? is it the right time ?.

- School , what college / university your going to

- Drugs %26amp; Alcohol, should we experiment just for the experience; stay clear of them altogether, peer pressured into trying perhaps.

- Peer Pressure , should we give in and conform into what the rest of the people are doing ? what would happen if i strayed from the status quo ? would people accept me if i dont do what they`re doing ? What would people think of me ?

- Family %26amp; Friends , when can i stray from my parents ? what will they think of me ? have i ' changed ' ? If i do what i choose, will it please them ?
who to lose their virginity to

what courses to study

who to live with when the parents divorce

which hobby to give up first as the studies become more important

setting up a savings account to get their first car
learning who they are

figuring out their life

Becoming more mature

Discovering who your true friends are

And living to make yourself happy.
+ get a job

+ sex

+ drinking

+ being responsible for actions, habits..

+ go to college
sexual activity, who to date, drugs, alcohol, peer pressure.
whether or not to have sex or get a job. those are pretty major.
To have sex

To choose careers

To grow up or not
sex, drugs, and drinking.
sex pressure

dating

What is the percentage of teenagers either creating mass murders or suicide after suffering bullying?

I am doing a speech on bullying %26amp; is wondering how many teenagers committed suicide or murder after suffering bullying?

*Australia only. What is the percentage of teenagers either creating mass murders or suicide after suffering bullying?
I don't know if there's any accurate statistics. I heard a number of suicides are actually not reported, they are reported as ';accidents';, ';unknown cause'; etc. And I think many bullies are not acknowledged either. But I agree bullies can make people commit suicides as they are called ';bullicides';.What is the percentage of teenagers either creating mass murders or suicide after suffering bullying?
Over the past few years people have been *shocked* over this issue.

I find it kind of weird because i thought most kids in school had a hit list. I did, i just never wrote it down or talked about it with anyone.

I think most kids wouldn't say anything in a suicide note about bullying, or even leave a note at all.

Why should schools treat pregnant teenagers differently than the others?

My sister is a senior in high school and there are so many girls there that are pregnant. It's a shame anyhow she was in class and was needing to go to the bathroom and she asked the teacher and he said no, wait til class is over but then 5 minutes later she said this pregnant girl asked and he gave her the hall pass and let her go to the bathroom.

That is not fair. Who else agree's?

Why do teachers do this (or people in general towards teens in school that are pregnant) Is it out of pity? Why should schools treat pregnant teenagers differently than the others?
Probably pity, and they probably don't want to mess with getting in trouble in case something happens to the baby, you know? They don't wanna get any blame for something so serious. I used to have alot of male teachers that wouldn't let me go to the bathroom in school either, I went anyways - even if I got in trouble or was marked tardy. Some girls would out right say ';I'm on my period, okay!?'; lol. Unfortunately, you're always gonna see some sort of favoritism in school - if it's a really serious issue tho, be sure to stand up for what's right! Be respectful at the same time though, that's always important, especially if you're trying to get your point across. =)Why should schools treat pregnant teenagers differently than the others?
if they treat them different it should be in a good way... i was in school while i was pregnant and wasnt treated different ... if they take care of their responsibilites then you should praise them.... at least they are not having an abortion and killing an innocent child

if she is pregnant she HAS to go duh

Depending on how long there was until class ended, no school has a right to deny a child or teenager a bathroom break. Now, if there was only ten or fifteen minutes left of class, I could understand. But the prego girl could have waited too. I never bothered about bathroom breaks at work when I was pregnant. I controled my fluid intake and made it to break time just fine.

Could be worse. Some school ship the prego girls to another school to get teach them how to take care of baby and never teach them anything else. I think that is wrong. They are not given a real education, just ';Here's how you fasten a diaper.';
They're probably afraid of getting sued for something stupid b/c everyone seems to be suing for crap these days...just be glad your sis isn't involved in the Popular Pregnant Club.
THey do it because they know that preganancy means going to the bathroom more. When you get pregnant you will see why they do that. A pregnant woman needs to potty more because of hormones affecting the bladder as well as the uterus and baby pushing on the bladder. If a pregnant woman has to use the restroom and doesn't get to go it increases the risk for a UTI which can cause preterm labor.

It is just like when people complain about pregnant teenagers eating more in schools....well duh they have to eat for the baby and so yes they have to eat more calories and more smaller meals.

Some things have to be changed when you are pregnant and someday you will probably realize that when you get pregnant yourself.

Edited:

Chances are if your sister is an overall healthy girl with no history of a UTI holding her urine in for a few more minutes isn't going to hurt her. If she was to get a UTI it is treatable with an antibiotic and won't cause her any complications. If a pregnant woman however gets a UTI it can cause increased risk of other infections as well as preterm labor which can harm her unborn baby.
Perhaps it is because a pregnant female can be going to the bathroom for any number of reasons....and special considerations have to be made to ensure nothing bad happens as a result of refusing a simple bathroom visit...

That being said...getting pregnant is high school is about the most moronic thing I can imagine...

Talk about ruining your life before you even get a chance to experience it...
omg i know exactly what you mean! i graduated in 07 and im now 5 months pregnant but i think it was my sophmore year of high school i got a detention bc the teacher wouldnt let me go to the restroom i didnt just have to go a little i was about to go in my pants in was a blocked class(two hours no break)and i was drinking lots of water bc it was a hott day and i had a softball game right after school.like 5 mins later this pregnant girl went up and asked to go and the teacher let her i was so mad i walked out went to the restroom and went back to class .

you gotta go you gotta go right?
I think it's fair because the girl was ';pregnant'; and your sister wasn't....if it was your sister that was pregnant you would think that it wouldn't be fair if the teacher only gave the pass to the girl who wasn't pregnant.

Try looking at it in a different way...

Pregnant woman are carrying another being inside of them so they need all the care and respect.

Sorry but your sister is being selfish.
If your sister really has to go to the bathroom, she should just get up and leave. If she gets sent to the office, oh well. Otherwise, she can just wait. You've been pregnant. You and many other women are perfectly aware that if you need to go, you need to go now because you might not make it if you wait.

I think it's perfectly fair and I don't agree with you. Life is not full of equality, so just get over it. As the other poster said, just be glad your sister is not part of the Popular Pregnant Club.
i dont think so because when i was pregnant it was hard for me to hold it especially when the baby was all up on my bladder and i have had a few embarassing moments in public because i couldnt get to the bathroom in time, i was in the middle of walmart on day and all of a sudden i had to pee and my son happened to push up against my bladder and i ended up peeing on myself a bit b4 i made it to the layaway bathrooms
Whether your a teen or not pregnancy puts demands on the woman's body. As far as the bathroom incident you mentioned goes it is well known that pregnant women need to pee more often because of the pressure the baby places on the bladder or it could have been morning sickness.

I was a teen when I had my children and I stayed in school. I was 15 when I had my daughter, 17 when I married her father and graduated at 19 and I was 6 months pregnant with my son. No I did not get special privileges nor did I expect them. The only exception was alterations that was made to my exercises in gym class and my teacher still failed me because I couldn't run the mile therefore I didn't get it done in her time frame. So I had to repeat a semester of gym, oh well.

I don't think it was fair that when my son was in elementary school and he had a letter from his Dr. because he has irritable bowel that if he left class to go to the restroom he had to give up his recess because the teacher said if he got to go that all the kids would want to go.
because she was pregnant. It's that simple.

She probably has talked to her teachers about the situation, and had a pass from the doctor or something.

Being pregnant, she can't hold it as long as a teenage girl who just wants to go fix her makeup.

Pregnant women have to go more often anyway.

It's hard enough that the girl is going through highschool being pregnant.

I have alot of respect for the girls who choose to follow through with their actions by not having an abortion (or an easy way out)

Although, I DO think that if he let one go, he should let the other as well, but I'm not the teacher=)

Most teachers don't let anyone go to the bathroom, and he probably let the pregnant girl go because he had to.

It's considered a medical situation.
First of all I think you need to settle down.

Your sister is not pregnant and therefore shouldn't have needed to go. Lunch or recess or whatever you call it is plenty of time to go if she needs to. Class is for learning and how would kids learn if they spent half th time in the toilet? However in the case of pregnant teen they actually DO need to pee.

I think it all depends on the reason the teen is pregnant. If they were raped I think they need special trreatment like counselling sessions and maybe extension or special exceptions on assignments and homework. Afterall they're probably hurt and scared. They didn't ask to get pregnant.

If the teem just wanted a kid I think they shouldn't get as much special treatment. Afterall they knew that when they got pregnant they would have to juggle that and their school work.
Pregnant teens shouldn't be treated special for getting in their condition, but at the same time, pregnant women physically can't hold their bladder. Once you get in the third trimester your body is not your own at all anymore.

It's not fair, but it is just how things are. If the teacher forced the pregnant girl to hold it and she ended up getting a UTI, the school district would be in trouble. Likewise, if the girl peed herself, her mother would have raised hell for the teacher abusing her child. Life isn't fair. Your sister held her bladder just fine.
Because pregnant women have a harder time controlling their bladders, especially in later pregnancy. One sneeze or cough and you'll be cleaning up a puddle.

I'm not saying that teenage mothers deserve privilage simply because they're teenage mothers, but in the real world pregnant women (regardless of age) have to pee a lot more often than non-pregnant ones, and when they have to go they HAVE to go, kwim?

Lots of times people look at pregnant teens as lower than they are, or less deserving because of their mistakes. In my opinion, it's better to let them have some ';privilage'; in school if it makes it easier on them rather than have them drop out and become another sad statistic. You'd be complaining if they dropped out and you'll complain if they stay in. Just lay off and focus on your own life. It's not going to hurt someone to wait a few minutes, and if it's a real emergency, go up and tell the teacher you HAVE TO GO NOW!!! Most times they'll let you go anyway.

Just be thankful you and sis aren't then ones with an 8 month old fetus kicking your full bladder in the middle of Biology. LOL.

Edited: If your sister got a UTI she'd have symptoms, she'd go to the doctor, get put on antibiotics and be done with it. If a pregnant woman had a UTI it's a much different story. UTIs have been connected with preterm labor, miscarriage and mental retardation of the fetus. Pregnant women also are usually asymptomatic, meaning they have no symptoms of a UTI other than an increased need to urinate, which is a common thing during any NORMAL pregnancy. The longer she'd hold the urine, the worse the UTI would become.

Stop sounding so hateful about teen mothers. Yes, they screwed up. Some are irresponsible, some don't have a choice in the matter and others genuinely don't know any better. You should climb off of your high horse, it's a long fall otherwise, and who's to say your sister or daughter wouldn't be in that situation some day?
As for the bathroom pass, your sister's bladder did not have a six or seven pound baby laying on it. I'm not saying people should be rewarded for being teen mothers, but pregnant women have to go to the bathroom often; that's the truth.

I think, tho, that you're making sweeping generalizations. Don't be jealous of attention or preferrential treatment that pregnant teens at your school might get.
well i understand what you are asking.I am 6 months pregnant my self and to be huntst it is hard to hold you blatter if the baby moves. But I think that she should be alowed to go wheather she is or not cause that is unfair. but as I said it is heard to hold your blatter.
A lot of this is due to the fact that it is well known that pregnancy causes you to need to go potty much more often even in the beginnings of the pregnancy. Hormones play havoc on a woman's body. Also you don't know if this girl had spoken with the teacher about the chance of it being morning sickness. Generally you can feel the nausea kick in and run to the bathroom to be sick. If he had said no, there was a likely chance of her either being sick or peeing in class. Neither of which are very nice. Also alot of people feel pity for a teen who's pregnant. Not saying this is right or wrong...just that it happens.
I think that is rediculouse, i would be taking it up with the head master of the school. If that was me i would have walked out after the other girl got told she could go. I dont get it the sensible ones get treated like crap and the pregnant ones get what they want just because they are pregnant.

I am pregnant myself but if i was in school and the teacher said no to another student going i wouldnt even bother asking unless i REALLY had to go because that is not fair to the others in the class!

Actually it's very rude!
Your sister isn't in kindergarden, she can wait until class is over. She's a senior in highschool.
Not that is makes it right, but pregnant girls/women in general have a harder time controlling their bladder, think about the weight that they have on their bladder, and with your sister not being pregnant it makes it much easier to just hold it. I know it's frusterating but hey, there's nothing we can do.

What do you think of teenagers these days?

I am a teenager myself, but I find some teenagers are really rude and disrespectful towards people these days.

Do you think it's right for someone to call you a b**** for bumping into you accidentally, and you had already apologised to them.

Thoughts? What do you think of teenagers these days?
Most are a bunch of whinny self-absorbed little twits. Of course many of their parents are no prizes themselves. Learning to act like a gentleman or lady will get you a lot further in life. What do you think of teenagers these days?
I'm not answering the second question because the answer is obvious. However, teenagers have always been rude and disrespectful because they are still maturing. Literally every aspect of their being is still growing. Physically they are growing or experiencing voice changes; emotionally they are learning how to handle different social situations and stress; intellectually they are figuring out time management skills (along with the good ol' math, science, etc.). Teenagers just need time to grow up. The world becomes an vastly different playing field outside of high school.
It's okay unless you are one of those idiots who do not watch where they are walking because they are occupied with something else such as a cellphone. Even if you do try to avoid them, they somehow still manage to bump into you. That is truly aggravating.
i was a teenager in the late 80s/ early 90s, to be honest i dont think they have changed much, i saw alot of rudeness back then.

Only thing that i see different is that they use technology more, when i was a teen we didnt have the internet/
I know what you mean my dear, my daughter Chandelier is becoming such a ruffian, I told her to turn on the tv for thee once and she replied ';do it yourself father, you lazy oaf!'; honestly how dare she use such colourful language
i agree with you!

someone needs to teach these kids some respect..

they are trying to be rude so some people would think they are baddA$$[cool]

I just turned 15 but I try to be as nice as possible to everyone around me, I don't know what their life is like so I have no business treating them badly.
Some not all def need some lessons in courtesy.
~there are lots of rude people in this world, and not just teenagers!~
